    Located about 3 km from Munnar city center, the Blossom International Hydel Park in Munnar sits close to the Pallivasal Hydro Electric Project over an area of around 16 acres. The park is home to various rare species of flowering plants, herbs, flower beds, small ponds, as well as tall canopies of trees, making it a favorite of all nature fanatics and botany enthusiasts.     2. Eravikulam National Park

    The home and sanctuary of the exotic Nilgiri Tahr, Eravikulam National Park is among the best national parks in Munnar that lets you bask in its unparalleled beauty and see the myriad colors of nature in the Western Ghats. Spread over an area of 97 square kilometers, the park is home to a huge range of flora and fauna.     Established by Kerala Tourism to protect and preserve the elephant population in Kerala, the Carmelagiri Elephant Park is a private park that offers short elephant safaris in the hilly forested routes of Munnar. Other than riding, this park also offers visitors the delightful experience of washing up and feeding these elephants under careful supervision (so that the animals do not fall sick). It’s the best place to interact with Kerala’s wildlife in their natural habitat. One must note that since this park has been built to care for these majestic beings and believes that elephant riding is more or less an act of cruelty towards animals, they offer this ride only over healthy and willing elephants.     While this too is a rather unknown park in Munnar, it won’t be difficult to find if you happen to be roaming around it. The strong aroma of a variety of fresh fruits, spices, herbs, and vegetables that grow here tend to lure people in! Spread over an area of 2 acres, this enormous stretch is brimming with healthy vegetation of spices like cardamom and vanilla, fruits like lychee, bananas, strawberries, rumbuta, and amla, and vegetables like cabbage, potato, cauliflowers, and beans.
