Traveling for me is all about the rejuvenation of mind and body. I find it incredibly relaxing and my family trip to Kerala was all about this and more.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary with our kid here and it turned out to be the best experience ever, thanks to lush green beauty and peaceful vibes of the place.
TravelTriangle was found on the internet and I really liked their concept of customizing a package as per traveler needs and furthermore, providing them multiple quotes and itineraries. So, I raised a request for a Kerala Tour Package and was soon given multiple quotes and itineraries for the same. I selected the best one from “Godwin Holidays.Com” and was now sorted with our travel plans.

Kerala’s Weather In March
The weather in Kerala during March was pleasant with temperature varying from 24 to 30 degrees during the day. The evenings, however, were quite calm and soothing. It felt like the best time to visit Kerala for our family vacation throughout the time when we were there.

Places To Visit In Kerala That Made Our Family Trip Special
Here’s a list of all the beautiful places that we visited on our trip to Kerala. From Munnar to Alleppey, we ticked it all off our bucket list and came back with an enchanting experience.

- Day 2: Munnar – Feeling the hilly vibes of Kerala
- Day 3: Thekkady – Witnessing culture of Kerala
- Day 4: Alappuzha – The surreal charm of the backwaters
- Day 5: Bidding adieu to Kerala
Day 1: Munnar – Green till your eyes can see!
The first day was a bit tiring as we started our journey from Mumbai at 4 am & reached our destination – Munnar by 1:30 PM. We had taken a flight and upon landing in Cochin, reached Munnar in a pre booked cab with our guide. The journey was very picturesque but we were exhausted by the time we reached our resort. After checking in, we slept for a while before going out for a lovely walk in our resort only. This resort was a fine one and was surrounded by beautiful scenery.

We started our day with a sumptuous breakfast, post which we proceeded to the Adventure Park. This was a great place where we did many activities like trekking and rock climbing. We even visited the 12D theater which was once again, a very unique and enjoyable.
Next up on our itinerary was a refreshing lake visit (which we loved!) and it was followed by tea museum. Here we got to know about the history of tea gardens in Kerala. Post this, we went for a traditional Kerala Ayurvedic spa treatment and the message that we got here was simply amazing! Overall, the day’s experiences exceeded our expectations!

To be honest, all of these activities gave us a great insight into the culture and nature of Kerala.

Upon reaching our houseboat, we were too excited to check in and explore the serene surroundings of the area. And true to our expectations, skimming through the waters amidst coconut and palm trees was the best feeling ever!
We truly felt as if we were in God’s own country and frankly, the moments cannot be described in words.
