Our excitement level was elevated as soon as we saw the scenic views on the way. It was a nice journey and we really loved the natural ambiance of Kerala.
Our holiday had begun on an amazing note!
On our way, we stopped at a few places including the spice plantation and a herb garden. The herb garden was an interesting place and the guide showed and explained about the many herbs we saw there. It was really informative especially for both the kids and adults.
We also enjoyed an elephant ride there and the kids loved it! Later on, we proceeded to our main destination – Munnar and reached our resort – ‘Broad Bean Resort & Spa’.
Our first reaction on seeing the resort was complete disbelief since we had never seen a hotel buried deep in the woods. We were spellbound by its amazing location amidst the mountains and greenery.
Happily, we settled into our beautiful rooms and then set off to explore the incredible resort. We had a good time boating there and later at the swimming pool. It was a fun experience!

Post breakfast on the second day, we set off for the flower garden in Munnar. It was a beautiful place and we loved colourful ambience all around. We got to know a lot about different types of flowers and also since it was raining, everything looked even more beautiful.
We also saw the Mattupetty dam and were filled with wonder on seeing the majestic dam. Post this, we visited the local market there and had a good time getting to know about the traditions and culture of the place.
We returned to our hotel in the evening and enjoyed our second dose of boating this time. Our evening was spent in playing games, we had a perfect family bonding session, just what anyone would want on a trip with their loved ones.

- Our resort in Munnar was one of the best experiences of Kerala tour.
- The amount of greenery was amazing and every nature lover will rejoice there.
Low Points: There was no customization for the meals at the houseboat and we had to eat what they offered to us. Moreover, we did not like the staff as well.
