Anniversaries are a reminder of a good decision that you made in life and honestly mine was the best one. My wife and I were looking for an exotic vacation to celebrate this special occasion and nothing could have been better than an anniversary vacation in Bali.
Having heard a great deal about the place from family and friends and seeing its beauty on the Internet, we were more than convinced about the destination. All that was left was a suitable Bali anniversary package and that too was well taken care of thanks to TravelTriangle.

Day 1: A romantic start to the vacation
10 Famous Villages In Bali Bubbling With Life, Art, & Rich Culture
Post a smooth flight to Bali, we met the agents representative on the airport who helped us with our transfer to the resort. The Grand Kesambi Resort & Spa was truly a gorgeous property. After we had checked in, we relaxed for a while before going out for a special candle light dinner at the Queens Seminyak (a truly awesome Indian restaurant in Bali that no couple should ever miss!).
As expected, the whole dining experience was pretty romantic and gastronomically pleasing. Post this, we returned to our hotel and called it a night.

We had an amazing time today indulging in water sports in Bali. From the thrilling and out of the world parasailing to Sea Walk, Jet Ski, and Banana Boat – we did it all and loved them all.
So while the day was full of adventure, the evening was calm, composed, and a cultural affair. We visited the world famous Uluwatu Temple in Bali and even was the Kecak Dance. It was all surreal.
Day 3: Experiencing true Bali vibes

The beautiful day started with a visit to the Taman Ayun Temple which was located in a beautiful setting. After seeking blessings here, we visited the One Bali Tanah Lot Agrowisata, which was a coffee shop and here we had a lot of fun tasting different kinds of coffee. The most expensive coffee in the world and exclusive to Indonesia, was also up for tasting.
Post a wonderful coffee session, we finally visited the Tanah Lot Temple and it was gorgeous for lack of better words. The money forest visit (Alas Kedaton) was equally interesting and awesome.
Day 4: Refreshing moments amidst nature and spirituality
We visited one of the most important and holiest Hindu Temples in Indonesia today, the Pura Besakih Temple. The peaceful vibes of the temple complex soothed our senses and rejuvenated us.

Talking about the villa, it was nothing like we had ever seen and the space truly felt intimate and utterly romantic.
In the evening, we visited the DMZ (Dream Museum Zone) and later explored the many charms of Kuta on our own.
Day 6: An amazing Kintamani Tour

Today, post our breakfast at the hotel, we set off for the Kintamani Tour. This tour is one of the major attractions of Bali and consists of multiple places to visit. We got to see the active volcano Mount Agung which was truly amazing. Next up was the Singapadu village which is famous for its coffee and has many cocoa plantations.
The most famous coffee in the world, Kopi Luwak can be tasted here and true to the experience, we tasted many varieties of coffee here. Post this was the famous Monkey Forest and that too was a pretty interesting experience for both of us.
Day 7: Temple visit and the most romantic dinner cruise

We visited the Pura Ulun Danu Bratan today and it was breathtakingly beautiful. The ambience of this lake water temple was surreal and the whole experience was totally worth it. From its refreshing spiritual vibe to the incredible architecture, we were blown away by the splendor of this place. Next up on our anniversary vacation in Bali was a romantic dinner cruise which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was a complete package that had everything we wanted. From music to entertainment to dance and breathtaking views – we had a lot of fun on the sunset dinner cruise in Bali.
Day 8: Our last day in Bali

This was our last day in Bali and as much as we didn’t want to leave, we had to. So post one last delicious breakfast at the hotel, we checked out and were subsequently transferred back to our hotel for our flight back to India.
Looking back at our romantic Bali trip, I feel all of it passed in the blink of an eye. It was holiday filled with beautiful memories and even more beautiful places that we shall never forget. Tips for fellow travelers going to Bali
- Be sure to book all the water sports in advance. If you are booking the watersports on the spot then you need to bargain a lot.
- While shopping from local shops or sellers, you need to bargain. Also, explore not only Bali but also Nusa Penida, Gili Islands and Lombok.
- If you are travelling to Bali, then take some US dollars along with you rather than any other foreign currency.
- If you are a pure vegetarian, then take some ready to eat food with you as it is a bit difficult to find vegetarian food around Bali.
- Make sure you include beachside candlelight dinner, and a stay at the private pool villa in your itinerary.
