From staying in houseboats, trekking in mountains, to relaxing on world-class beach resorts- the seven days they spent in Kerala are something they will never forget.
On an average, my wife and I travel twice a year to different destinations around the country. Since we love visiting places which have beaches and natural greenery, a friends trip to Kerala seemed like the best option for us.

2. Living on a boat exploring the scenic waterways in Kerala!
For the first time in our lives, we were about to spend a night on a houseboat. On the fourth day, we arrived in Alleppey at 11 am and boarded the houseboat with our luggage. The experience of living on a houseboat was exciting and intriguing as we meandered through the serene and untouched backwater of Kerala.
Although the food served on the boat had room for improvement, we otherwise enjoyed every moment of our adventure around the backwaters of Alleppey.

3. Sunnyside up in chilled-out Kovalam!
For the final two days of our friends trip to Kerala, we checked into the Soma Palmshore Resort. Our sole purpose of including Kovalam in our itinerary was to relax for some time at a beach and rejuvenate at a luxury resort.
The rooms given to us were very comfortable and had a spectacular sea view. On the first afternoon, we decided to relax at the resort, go for a dip in the ocean (which was like in the front yard of the resort), and watch the beautiful sunset from the comfort of our hotel room balcony.
On the final evening of our trip, we couldn’t resist but go for a quick visit to the beach again at sunset time to breathe in the beauty one final time.
After having enjoyed so many different experiences in one week, looking back at this friends trip to Kerala only brought one word to my mind- unbelievable. Probably, nowhere else in the world would I be visiting three of my favorite landscapes in just one week on a single vacation. A special word of thanks to TravelTriangle and Trips On Click for planning the trip in an organized manner where nothing went wrong.
