Weather In Singapore In April
Though our trip went quite amazing but the weather was a bit unpredictable. It would rain anytime and in an hour you’ll see the sun shining. There were times when it was cloudy and it would rain literally anytime of the day. Since we went in the month of April, such weather conditions were bound to occur. Weather of Singapore in April observes light winds and there are thunderstorms in some intervals but it overall remains pleasant. However, we made sure that we cover almost everything without getting bogged down by the inconsistency of the weather.
Our Experiences During The Trip To Singapore In April
Our one week in Singapore was completely worthwhile owing to all exceptional experiences we underwent in this country. Each experience has been elaborately described below!
1. Exploring The Nightlife
After resting well at the hotel to get over the tiredness of our journey, we planned to visit the clubs of Singapore. The local clubs and pubs to familiarise ourselves with the lifestyle, culture, amd nightlife of the island city state. I remember how vibrant the ambiance was at night and we both simply had the time of our lives partying together and seeing everyone around us enjoying their heart out. It was definitely an experience in itself!
2. A Visit To The Marvelous Gardens By The Bay
The next morning we set out for the Gardens by the Bay – the amazing nature park in Marina Gardens. On our visit we realised that planning to visit this tourist attraction in the morning is the ideal thing to do, as it is not crowded and you can easily explore it the way you want. While we were inside, we visited the Cloud Forest. Cloud Forest was a site worth witnessing, the 115-feet tall waterfall is one of the highlights while the Cloud Mountain is quite a unique structure here! At night, we ended our day here by witnessing the stunning light and sound show.
3. A Safari To Remember
The trip to Singapore in April for our anniversary would have been incomplete if we didn’t go for the night safari. The day began with us relaxing at our hotel itself. We swam and rejuvenated ourselves for the experience that awaited us. The night safari was one of the best experiences we had here.
4. A Blissful City Tour
The Singapore city tour went beyond our expectations, to our surprise. We went to the Merlion Park – a tourist attraction that was mandatory to visit in Singapore. We also went for a ride on Singapore Flyer – a spellbinding experience. When we were on it, we could not only see the entire island city state of Singapore but also some part of Malaysia as well as Indonesia. This tour helped us learn more about the cultural significance of the nation.
5. The Much-Awaited Visit To Sentosa Island
Afterall, what’s a Singapore trip without a visit to the most amazing Sentosa Island! This is one of the most-visited tourist attractions in the country for all the right reasons. Sentosa Island is a spot that attracts people from all over the world to the country of Singapore. We had a great time here and we came across many tourists as well as locals here. This place is a world of its own and we loved it too. We felt that our Singapore travel in April was complete after we experienced the vibe of Sentosa Island.
6. A Relishing Experience At Universal Studios
This is considered to be the first Hollywood theme park in Southeast Asia. We had a thrilling and fun experience in this theme park and we enjoyed our hearts out. Everything about Universal Studios Singapore is quite amazing and we loved every moment at this attraction. The thrilling rides simply made us relive our childhood days and were equally thrilling.
Hotel We Stayed At On Our Trip To Singapore In April
We checked in to Value Hotel Thomson located in Balestier Road. We stayed at a standard double room, which was quite cosy. The room service was quick and the staff was quite hospitable as well as welcoming. This hotel property was at a distance of 2-3 kilometers from marketplace. The transportation in Singapore is not expensive and this is why exploring the local shops from our property wasn’t a task.
Singapore Travel Tips
- If you’re going for a night safari, you should plan accordingly by keeping a check on the weather – if it’s raining, you won’t be able to enjoy the animal shows, as they get cancelled
- If you want to enjoy the tourist attractions without any hassle, make sure you plan your visit on a weekday. On public holidays or weekends, these attractions are quite crowded
- Since the weather in Singapore is quite unpredictable, it is suggested that you keep an umbrella handy with you always
- When you’re going for the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure at Universal Studios, then don’t forget to wear a raincoat or carry extra clothing, as you’ll be drenched while enjoying the ride
