Lamayuru Monastery is located in the village of Lamayuru. It is one of the oldest monasteries in the town. Many Buddhists visit this place once a year. When coming to accommodation, the monastery can accommodate only 50 monks while the others live in the village of Lamayuru. 2. Stok Palace Museum

The palace where the royal family was sent into exile to Stock is now turned into a museum that houses the most extensive collection of jewellery, ornaments, Thangkas, and others. Gurudwara Pathar Sahib is the most sacred place where Sikhism’s first Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji is believed to have killed a demon. Observing this the demon requested punishment for his act and Guru Nanak Ji pardoned him.
