Day 1: Arrival in Bali
Honeymoon In Bali: A Fine Blend Of Nature, Love, & Adventure
We took an overnight flight from Mumbai and arrived in Bali at 1 pm. After clearing customs, we met the driver assigned to us, who drove us to the Grand Aston Bali Beach Resort for our check in. Our accommodation was situated right next to Kuta beach with beautiful sea-view from the resort. Along with that, there were a lot of in-house activities like gym, swimming pool, snooker, and table tennis to keep the guests happy.
In the evening, we chose to relax at the resort, enjoy the rainy weather, and have dinner to end a tiring day of travel and transit.
Day 2: Sightseeing in Bali
The next morning, we began our sightseeing tour by traveling to Lovina. En route, we stopped in Ubud art market for some shopping. We reached the beautiful Lovina Beach and relaxed over there for a few hours.
Post lunch, we visited the Banjar village hot spring and Git Git waterfall. The constant drizzle on the second day of our honeymoon trip to Bali made us enjoy the waterfall even more. Finally, before heading back to the resort, we stopped by at the Bedugul Temple at 6 pm and witnessed the mesmerizing evening prayers.
It was an incredible day, as we traveled from south to north Bali seeing the landscape change from beaches to misty mountains. A true testament to the diverse landscape in Bali.
Day 3: River Rafting in Bali
Best Places To Stay In Bali For An Unforgettable Honeymoon Experience!
After breakfast, we were taken by the driver for a session of river rafting in the Ayung river. We navigated through the fierce rapids and gushing waters to enjoy an incredible thrill ride.
Later on, we traveled to the southernmost point of Bali- Uluwatu temple. Over there, we saw a spiritually charged tribal dance performance, that reminded us of the depth of devotion people carry in their hearts for the almighty. After the performance finished, we proceeded back to our resort for the evening.
Every night, we used to go for dinner to an Indian restaurant called Queens of India. The ‘ kali dal’ dish I had over there, was better than what I am used to having back in Mumbai.
Day 4: Water Sports at Nusa Dua Beach
My wife was impatiently waiting for this very day on our honeymoon trip to Bali. She is a water lover, and post breakfast, we were scheduled for a day of watersports in Nusa Dua.
We arrived at Benoa Water Sports Center at Nusa Dua Beach to do an entire range of water activities like parasailing, flying fish, scuba diving, and undersea walk. Amongst all these, I enjoyed scuba diving the most, as during our dive, we explored the untouched and magical marine life in Bali.

Day 5: Candlelight dinner in Seminyak
The next day, we checked out of Kuta and transferred to Dream Villa in Seminyak. I thought after our lovely experience at the resort in Kuta, the Dream Villa couldn’t possibly be any better. How wrong was I! Everything at the villa felt like a dream; the ambiance was romantic, the location was perfect, and the swimming pool was alluring.
This day on our honeymoon trip to Bali became even more romantic with a candlelight dinner at a beach near Seminyak.
Day 6: Finishing off with a sunset cruise in Bali

After a lovely breakfast, we took the resort shuttle to go for some shopping in Kuta. We had to return to the hotel by 3 pm as we had tickets booked for a romantic sunset cruise.
The entire experience of partying on a luxury boat was memorable. On our catamaran, an epic view of the sunset was accompanied by a lively DJ, a sumptuous buffet, and energetic dance performances. We deboarded the cruise at 8 pm and returned to our villa for the night.

For a nature-loving couple like us, there was so much to adore in Bali. The weather in Bali was amazing, as it hovered around 24-25 degree mark.
