It is a platform which showcases new talents that come forward to stun you with their skills in electronic music including trance, dubstep, and bass drops. Dunes is a stage that presents the Indian EDM artists to the youth in India and around the world. This year, Dunes Music Festival is back as Dunes Beachland and the excitement is double. The very first edition will be held in the gorgeous Havelock Island of the Andamans.
About EDM And Dunes Music Festival 2019
EDM or the Electronic Dance Music is compiled and intended to address a large group of dancers with its wide range of sounds. Its origin dates back to the 70s when EDM was enjoyed in the form of popular disco and synthpop electronic dance music and 2000s saw EDM in its much-defined form. Its popularity has grown over the years and is becoming a thing in India now.
With several music festivals getting shaped in India, Dunes Music Festival is solely dedicated to EDM. Dunes strongly believe in music, not genre. The idea is to celebrate music in its entirety and not divide and restrict it. It is a beautiful and harmonious amalgamation of different styles. Dunes accommodate every form of music, be it Electro, Trance, Dub Fusion, Ambient, Drill, and Bass, or even Acid Jazz.
DMF established in 2016 has given three successful annual editions so far. Dunes Beachland is an even more exciting concept where the show will be hosted on a beach. Witness the music waves competing with the rhythm of the sea waves. This is the first edition of Dunes Beachland and it has been rightly scheduled for Valentine’s weekend. In fact, the organizers have already started planning for the second edition too, which will be held at the Mandarmani Beach near Kolkata, West Bengal.
