For us, travel is like a golden gateway to reach out to new people, explore the unexplored places, and learn about different cultures & lifestyles. And since we are both big foodies and adventure lovers, we ended up finalizing Maldives as our honeymoon destination (also because it was on my wife’s bucket list).

5 Things To Do In Maldives That Made Our Honeymoon Magical
Listed below are some of the best experiences you can have in the country of Maldives. Check out what all we did in some of the best tourist places in Maldives!
1. Staying in a breathtakingly beautiful water villa
Maldives is known for its gorgeous water villas and staying in one was one of the top things on our bucket list. So, as soon as we reached Male, we were welcomed by our travel agent’s representative who escorted us Olhuveli Resort via a speedboat. The one hour journey on the boat left us in awe and we couldn’t be more glad about picking this paradise for our Maldives honeymoon tour.

While for the first three nights of our vacation, we stayed in an elegant deluxe room, on the last night we moved to a beautiful sunset Jacuzzi water villa. 2. Getting a million memories captured
On the second day of our trip, we did what honeymooners in Maldives love to do, i.e. capturing the beauty of the paradise and of the eternal love between them. So, as soon as we were done relaxing and exploring our resort, we decided to make the most of the professional photography service offered to us.
We spent the day around the resort getting innumerable pictures clicked in different poses and against different views. And needless to say, these pictures are a souvenir we can’t stop looking at even now.
3. Enjoying a dolphin cruise tour & rejuvenating with a couple spa
There’s more to Maldives than just its beaches and the popular sunset dolphin cruise proves that well. So, of all the things to do on a Maldives honeymoon, we decided to go for a ride during sunset. Witnessing the dolphins, baby sharks, and stingrays in their natural habitat was one of the most beautiful things we had seen during our entire vacation. And not just this, but even the views around were so breathtaking that we completely lost track of time.

Apart from this, on the fourth day of our honeymoon in Maldives, we rejuvenated our minds and souls with a couple spa. It was so refreshing that if we had to describe it in one word, we would simply call it an awesome experience!
4. Indulging in water adventures like snorkeling
Just like romance, every honeymoon must also have a pinch of adventure to make it more memorable and our trip, fortunately, had it all. We went snorkeling and seeing the underwater life at its best left us completely amused. It was serene, surreal, and soul-satisfying. If not anything else, we feel snorkeling is one experience every couple should have together at least once in their lives.
