Day 5: Visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels In Ho Chi Minh
The fifth day of our trip began by visiting the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, the Reunification Palace, and the War Remnants Museum. It was a great tour, and felt like we had seen more of Vietnam already. But, the travel lover within us wasn’t satisfied yet!
The highlight of this day was our visit to the Cu Chi tunnels, which are now a popular tourist spot in the country. And so, exploring these dark tunnels was a unique and thrilling experience, something one cannot experience anywhere else in the world.
We ended the day with some drinks and cassava, which gave us a feel of the local lifestyle.
